Agra Insights Guided Tour

Start the day with a pick-up from your hotel, or any location in Agra. You’ll be greeted by your professional guide, who will accompany you throughout the day and provide fascinating insights into Agra’s rich history and culture.

• The first stop will be the Taj Mahal, the world-famous white marble mausoleum and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Your guide will share the history behind this iconic symbol of love, and you’ll have plenty of time to explore the monument, take photographs, and soak in its breathtaking beauty.
• Please note: Entry tickets to the Taj Mahal are not included.

After visiting the Taj Mahal, proceed to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This grand fort played a significant role in the Mughal Empire and offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts. Your guide will take you through the various palaces and gardens within the fort, explaining the significance of each part.

Next, head to Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden situated on the opposite side of the Yamuna River, which offers the perfect view of the Taj Mahal. Here, you can take some fantastic photos of the Taj from across the river and enjoy a peaceful, scenic atmosphere away from the crowds.

After sightseeing, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant (lunch is not included, but recommendations can be provided). You can choose a restaurant offering traditional North Indian cuisine, with options like dal makhani, butter chicken, and naan.

If time allows, you can visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daula, often referred to as the “Baby Taj.” This beautiful marble tomb, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, is another fine example of Mughal architecture. The intricate inlay work on the tomb’s walls makes it a fascinating visit.

After a full day of sightseeing, your driver will drop you off at your hotel, Agra railway station, or any other location in Agra by 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM, depending on your pace and time spent at each attraction.
