Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Chitrakoot included in this Central India spiritual tour?

Chitrakoot holds immense religious significance in Indian epic history as the forest sanctuary where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana spent eleven of their fourteen years in exile. Adding Chitrakoot creates a complete spiritual bridge between the temples of Khajuraho and the holy river ghats of Prayagraj and Varanasi.

What is the significance of the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj?

Triveni Sangam is the holy confluence of three sacred rivers: the Ganga, Yamuna, and the subterranean Saraswati. Taking a dip or boat ride at this point is believed to cleanse sins and bring spiritual liberation, making it one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India.

How are the long road distances handled in this 15-day trip?

The itinerary is engineered with natural breaks: intercity drives are kept under 3 to 5 hours on most days, broken up by historic stops (such as Mathura, Fatehpur Sikri, and Orchha). The longest leg at the end is replaced by a comfortable 1.5-hour domestic flight from Varanasi back to Delhi.

What is the recommended dress code for temples on this tour?

Modest attire is required at all active religious sites (such as Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura, Ram Raja Temple in Orchha, and Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi). Shoulders and knees must be covered, and slip-on shoes are recommended since footwear must be removed before entering temple sanctums.

Can this 15-day itinerary be adjusted to end in Varanasi?

Yes. Because this is a 100% private tour, you can choose to complete your journey in Varanasi on Day 14. Your driver will drop you off at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (VNS) for an international connecting flight or direct onward travel.
