Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & Hotel Transfer

   Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi. Meet your private driver and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax after your flight.

2. Day 2: Full-Day Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi

   After breakfast, explore Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, and a drive past the Red Fort. In the afternoon, discover New Delhi’s historic landmarks: Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, and drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace) and the Parliament House.

3. Day 3: Drive from Delhi to Mathura & Agra

   Check out of your hotel and drive 3 hours south along the Yamuna Expressway to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Visit the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple Complex and nearby Vrindavan sites including Banke Bihari Temple and Prem Mandir. In the late afternoon, continue your drive to Agra and check into your hotel.

4. Day 4: Taj Mahal Sunrise, Agra Fort & Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

   Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Watch the white marble light up in soft morning tones as your guide details its Mughal history. Return to your hotel for breakfast and visit Agra Fort. Afterwards, drive west to Jaipur, stopping en route at Emperor Akbar's 16th-century ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri to see the colossal Buland Darwaza.

5. Day 5: Full-Day Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur

   Head into the Aravalli Hills to visit Amber Fort, exploring its grand courtyards and mirror-filled Sheesh Mahal. Stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace) for photos across Man Sagar Lake. In the afternoon, explore the City Palace complex, Jantar Mantar observatory, and the lattice facade of Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).

6. Day 6: Drive from Jaipur to Gwalior

   Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a 6-hour drive east to the historic fortress city of Gwalior. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the late afternoon, visit the hilltop Gwalior Fort, exploring Man Singh Palace, rock-cut Jain sculptures, and Saas-Bahu Temple.

7. Day 7: Gwalior Palace Sightseeing & Drive to Orchha

   After breakfast, visit the opulent Jai Vilas Palace Museum in Gwalior, famous for its massive crystal chandeliers and royal memorabilia. In the afternoon, drive 3 hours south to the medieval riverside town of Orchha on the banks of the Betwa River. Check into your hotel.

8. Day 8: Orchha Heritage Monuments & Drive to Khajuraho

   Explore Orchha’s architectural marvels, including Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and the active Ram Raja Temple. Walk to the edge of the Betwa River to admire the majestic royal Chhatris (cenotaphs). In the afternoon, drive 3.5 hours east to Khajuraho. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

9. Day 9: UNESCO Khajuraho Temples & Drive to Chitrakoot

   After breakfast, tour the UNESCO World Heritage Khajuraho Temple Complex. Explore the Western Group of Temples, including the grand Kandariya Mahadev Temple, celebrated for its intricate Nagara architecture and expressive stone relief carvings. Visit the Eastern Group of Temples (Jain Temples). In the afternoon, drive 4 hours east to the sacred town of Chitrakoot. Check into your hotel.

10. Day 10: Chitrakoot Pilgrimage Tour & Drive to Prayagraj (Allahabad)

    Spend the morning exploring Chitrakoot, where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana spent years during their forest exile. Visit Ram Ghat on the Mandakini River, Kamadgiri Hill, Hanuman Dhara, and Sati Anusuya Ashram. In the afternoon, drive 3.5 hours to Prayagraj (Allahabad). Check into your hotel.

11. Day 11: Prayagraj Sightseeing & Drive to Varanasi

    In the morning, take a holy boat ride to Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and invisible Saraswati rivers. Visit Anand Bhavan (historic ancestral home of the Nehru family), Allahabad Fort (outside view), and the underground Laying Hanuman Temple. In the afternoon, drive 3 hours to Varanasi, India’s spiritual capital. Check into your hotel and attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

12. Day 12: Sunrise Boat Cruise, Varanasi City Tour & Sarnath Excursion

    At dawn, enjoy a boat cruise along the River Ganges to witness morning prayers, rituals, and sunrise over the historic ghats. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor, Annapurna Temple, and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). In the afternoon, take a 10 km excursion to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Explore Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum.

13. Day 13: Spiritual Heritage Walk & Free Time in Varanasi

    Spend a relaxed day exploring Varanasi’s ancient heritage lanes. Take a guided walking tour through the back alleys of Varanasi to discover traditional silk weaving looms, centuries-old shrines, and local tea stalls. Spend the afternoon shopping for world-famous Banarasi silk sarees or relaxing along the riverfront ghats.

14. Day 14: Fly from Varanasi to Delhi

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Transfer to Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (VNS) in Varanasi for a short 1.5-hour domestic flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to your hotel. Spend your final evening enjoying souvenir shopping or dining at a fine restaurant.

15. Day 15: Final Departure from Delhi

    After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, your chauffeur will provide a private drop-off at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) or the railway station for your onward journey home.
