Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & Hotel Transfer

   Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi. Meet your private driver and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring local markets at your leisure.

2. Day 2: Old Delhi Heritage Tour & Drive to Shekhawati (Mandawa)

   After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid and take a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, drive 5.5 hours west into the Shekhawati region to Mandawa. Check into a heritage haveli.

3. Day 3: Shekhawati Painted Havelis & Drive to Bikaner

   Take a morning walking tour through Mandawa and Nawalgarh to admire the 18th-century frescoed merchant mansions (havelis). After lunch, drive 3.5 hours west to the desert city of Bikaner. Check in and visit Junagarh Fort and the vibrant old city bazaars.

4. Day 4: Drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer (The Golden City)

   Depart Bikaner and drive 5.5 hours west across the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer. Pass desert hamlets, salt pans, and wind farms along the highway. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy sunset views of Jaisalmer Fort from local city viewpoints.

5. Day 5: Jaisalmer Living Fort Tour & Sam Sand Dunes Sunset

   Explore Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Qila), one of the world's few living forts home to local families, shops, and centuries-old Jain temples. Tour Patwon ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli. In the late afternoon, drive to Sam Sand Dunes for a camel trek across desert dunes as the sun sets, followed by a traditional folk dance performance.

6. Day 6: Drive from Jaisalmer to Rohetgarh & Blue City Tour

   Depart Jaisalmer and drive 4.5 hours east to Jodhpur. Visit the towering Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Continue 45 minutes south to Rohetgarh, a fortified ancestral manor estate. Enjoy a relaxed evening at the manor estate listening to local folk musicians.

7. Day 7: Bishnoi Village Safari & Rural Life Encounters

   Embark on a private 4x4 Jeep safari into native Bishnoi Villages. Interact with local artisans, potters, and weavers, and learn about the Bishnoi community's wildlife protection traditions. Witness an authentic village Amal (opium culture tea ceremony) and spot wild blackbucks roaming near village fields.

8. Day 8: Drive from Rohet to Rawla Narlai & Aravalli Countryside Walk

   After breakfast, drive 2 hours south into the rocky granite landscapes of the Aravalli hills to Rawla Narlai, a 17th-century royal hunting lodge. Check in and take a guided afternoon village walk through Narlai town, meeting local Rabari camel herders.

9. Day 9: Ranakpur Marble Temple, Leopard Jeep Safari & Drive to Udaipur

   In the early morning, take an optional 4x4 countryside jeep safari through the granite hills to spot wild leopards. Return for breakfast and drive to the marble Ranakpur Jain Temple, famous for its 1,444 uniquely carved pillars. Continue driving 2.5 hours to Udaipur (City of Lakes) and check into your hotel.

10. Day 10: Full-Day Sightseeing in Udaipur & Lake Pichola Boat Cruise

    Spend the day discovering Udaipur with your guide. Tour the grand City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan overlooking Lake Pichola. Visit Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the Maidens). In the late afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Pichola, floating past Jag Mandir island.

11. Day 11: Drive from Udaipur to Castle Bijaipur via Chittorgarh Fort

    Depart Udaipur and drive 2.5 hours east to explore Chittorgarh Fort, the largest fort complex in India featuring victory towers (Vijay Stambha) and ancient palaces. Continue 45 minutes into the countryside to Castle Bijaipur, a 16th-century heritage castle nestled in the Vindhyanchal hills. Take an evening village walk through Bijaipur farmland.

12. Day 12: Rural Bijaipur Countryside Exploration & Lake Walk

    Spend a peaceful day immersed in rural Bijaipur. Take a guided walking or bullock-cart tour through surrounding organic farms, village schools, and local pottery workshops. Relax by the castle pool or enjoy a nature walk around the nearby Lotus Lake.

13. Day 13: Drive from Bijaipur to Bundi & Stepwell Tour

    After breakfast, drive 3 hours northeast to the charming heritage town of Bundi. Check into a heritage hotel and explore Garh Palace and Taragarh Fort, famous for their un-restored 17th-century miniature murals (Bundi Chitrashala). Visit iconic stepwells including Raniji ki Baori and Dhabhai Kund.

14. Day 14: Drive from Bundi to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

    Depart Bundi and drive 5.5 hours northeast toward Agra. En route, stop to explore Emperor Akbar's 16th-century red sandstone ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri and its monumental Buland Darwaza. Arrive in Agra, check into your hotel, and visit Mehtab Bagh for sunset views of the Taj Mahal across the river.

15. Day 15: Taj Mahal Sunrise, Agra Fort & Drive to Delhi

    Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Visit Agra Fort, the former seat of the Mughal Dynasty. In the afternoon, board your private car for a smooth 3.5-hour drive back to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway. Check into your hotel.

16. Day 16: Departure from Delhi

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, your private driver will transfer you to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) or New Delhi Railway Station for your departure home.
